Description:

The digital Innovation hub West is an initiative, indented to support small and middle institutions in wester Austria with digital transformation and the realization of digital projects. With close collaboration of local universities and access to their research faculties and experience to strengthen the innovation potential.

Alexander Hörbst and Marco Schweitzer from the IEBE lead the work package for Digital Health, Sport and Tourism. In this work package a task force will be build consisted of representatives from tourism, experts of digitalization and research with the shared aim to elaborate concepts and guidelines for digitalization in health and sports tourism. The focus is set to hybrid services and on the digitalization of existing services (eServices).

The results will be published as digital guidelines and general concepts for all related stakeholders from health and sports tourism. For individual ideas, the initiative offers a platform between tourism and research units as well as platform for analysis and realization of potential digitalization projects.
