They are especially qualified for demanding tasks in industry and business enterprises in the different fields of mechatronics and the related fields of mechanical engineering, material science, electronic science, medical engineering etc. after brief training periods. There, the advantages of the university education’s focus on basic and methodological competence take effect.
Biomedical Informatics (discontinued)
The Tyrolean Private University UMIT TIROL students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exciting world of IT applications and developments of large-scale health companies within the framework of the master study programme in Biomedical Informatics. They get familiar with methods and tools of applied informatics / information technology in the fields of health, biotechnology and pharmacy and will later play a leading role as IT experts in the medical progress and in the health care provision.
